The exceptionally fine, evenly textured wood that has a purplish reddish-brown colour with various shades. The colour differences between the different boards are natural and common. There may be holes in the wood caused by insects, but these holes do not affect durability and static properties. Massaranduba is one of the most popular woods for deckings and is generally considered to be firm and very hard.
