Siberian Larch is yellowish-white to reddish-white, core wood reddish-brown to dark red-brown. Siberian Larch is one of the most valuable and durable species among coniferous wood species. Its resin repels water as a natural impregnation and protects wood against fungal attack. Siberian larch is harder than European because of its slow growth in cold regions. Larch is particularly sensitive to iron, and we recommend stainless steel fasteners only to prevent rust. As larch tends to cleft, all attachment points should be pre-drilled. We recommend using OSMO End Grain Sealing Wax No. 5735. Wood density: approx. 650 kg / m 3. Artificially dried to: 16-18%
