The most common decking grip suitable for all deckings up to a thickness of 25mm (for exotic terraces) or 28mm (for larch terraces) which are artificially dried. This deck clip is suitable for decking with a width of 120-145 mm. It comes in boxes of 200 pieces and includes 800 stainless steel screws, i.e. 4 screws for each decking fastener. A package of 200 deck clips and 800 screws is sufficient for the installation of approx. 9 m² of wooden decking using 140 mm wide deck boards.
The deck clip prevents the stainless steel screws from slipping out of the gap (10 mm) between the substructure and the deck board, especially when using exotic wood. The boards are connected indirectly, i.e., no screw heads are visible on the surface of the terrace.
Instructions for using the deck clip:
First, drill the clips into the bottom of the boards and then into the substructure from above.
This method of connection prevents direct connection to the substructure. The deck boards thus have greater freedom of movement (via the deck clip).
We recommend using two screws per clip to connect the clip to the board and two screws to connect the clip to the substructure.
Information about the material of the deck clip:
PVC is a highly durable and widely used material across various industries, including sewage pipes, flooring, medical components, and insulation materials.
PVC is known for its strength and high thermal resistance. It has a melting point of approximately 210°C. The maximum recommended usage temperature is around 110°C, while the long-term continuous operating temperature is up to 95°C.
