Cumaru wood (also known as Brazilian teak, Dipteryx odorata, Almendrillo, Tonka and Tonquin Bean) is light to dark chocolate brown, sometimes turning to an olive brown. The colour differences between the individual boards are natural and usual. Cumaru offers a wide range of pleasant, warm tones, from honey brown, yellowish brown to reddish brown, which perfectly match and complement each other. Cumaru fibres are often intertwined and wavy, creating a very interesting texture. The tones of this wood are very warm and create a relaxing feeling.
